自我描述特长展示：I feel an obligation to train the musicians of tomorrow so that they may have the opportunity to experience the joys of a musical life. Make no mistake, it takes work, a lot of work. There are no mysteries to becoming a great musician and my students know this. I strive to instill autonomy in all of my students.
My teaching focuses on fundamentals, performances and musicality for advanced students.Fundamental works focus on the mouth/fingering and body relationship and getting the body to do what the mind whats through the development of: embouchure, air articulation, scales, hand shape/position, rhythm, and practice techniques.

Performance is where the fundamental and musical work pays off and unlocks the true techniqueand joy found in music

Musicality works focus on developing the mind’s voice and learning the language of music through developing: rhythm, music reading, basic theory, singing, note grouping, phrase shaping, use of dynamics, listening, ensemble skills, and repertoire.

我觉得我有义务发觉以及训练明天的单簧管热爱者和音乐家，让他们体验音乐在生活中的乐趣，以及在专长上的一个进步。这需要很多工作和努力。我曾告诉我的学生，成为一个好的音乐家需要许多努力，我也努力告诉他们如何学习独立思考音乐和自主性。
我的教学重点是单簧管的基础练习，技术的掌握，和如何在演奏中更好的表现音乐。基础：指法/嘴型和体态如何熟练的掌握和把握更好的气息，吐音，音阶的练习，手型/手位，节奏，以及日常规范的练习。
技术：好的技术是建立在更完善和良好的平日基本功练习，最终高水准的技术会在音乐中绽放和体现它自己的乐趣以及成就感。
音乐性：音乐性的重点是通过节奏的培养，乐谱的阅读，基础理论知识，心中的歌唱，音符组合，乐句塑造，强弱对比，听力培养，合奏技巧以及曲目的学习来提高音乐在心里的共鸣，从而更好的了解音乐这门语言
